Anderson, a partner in the Columbus office, has a general litigation practice which includes employment, commercial, business and product liability law.

Anderson is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. She is also a faculty member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. She has served as an Adjunct Professor for The Ohio State University College of Law and Capital University Law School and is a frequent speaker in continuing legal education programs.

Anderson received the 2004 Justice Alice Robie Resnick Award of Distinction at the Annual Meeting of the Ohio Women's Bar Association. She is a member of the Columbus Bar Association (President, 1996-1997; Member, Board of Governors, 1991-1998; Chair, Women in the Law Committee, 1989-1991), Columbus Bar Foundation (Board of Trustees, 1998-present), Ohio State Bar Association (member, Council of Delegates, 1990-present; member, Steering Committee, OSBA/Ohio Supreme Court Joint Task Force on Gender Fairness 1990-93; member, Board of Governors, Section on Women in the Profession, 1993-1998) and the American Bar Association. She has served on the Advisory Committee on Local Rules for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

She obtained her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, in Communication from Ohio University in 1973. She obtained her law degree, magna cum laude, in 1976 from Northwestern University, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, an editor of the Law Review and a member of the National Moot Court Team. Before joining the Vorys firm in 1977, Anderson served as a law clerk to Judge George Edwards, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
