Lynne Oliver Houle graduated from Ohio University with highest honors in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Systems Management. She was the recipient of the School’s Outstanding Graduate Award. Lynne then attended Katholieke University Faculty of Law in Leuven, Belgium in 1989 and 1990. In 1991, she graduated from Stanford Law School with a Doctorate in Jurisprudence.

Lynne has been employed by the Amoco Corporation in Chicago, IlI. as an associate telecommunications analyst and also at Winston & Strawn in Chicago as a summer associate. Lynne was also a summer associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison in Palo Alto, California. Lynne also has had an extensive career abroad. She was employed by Heller, Lober, Bahn & Partners in Prague, Czech Republic as well as Brobeck, Hale, and Dorr, as an associate also in the Czech Republic.

Lynne is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association as well as the Maine Bar Association. Currently, Lynne resides in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She is married to Chris Houle and has two young sons, Caelan and Luc.
